We are all taught to stay off unsafe scenes, but what happens when you find yourself on a scene you thought was safe that turns out to be unsafe? Wayne County EMS will be hosting an Escaping Violent Encounters Course for EMS/Fire and Healthcare Providers. This class will be held at Wayne County EMS February 6th & 7th, 08:00 - 1700 Eastern Time with a one-hour lunch break. This is a 16-hour course which will give the participant 16 hours of CEUs depending on your state reg. For Hospital staff, this course is JACO approved. Course cost: $100.00. Each student will receive a workbook and a DVD with all skills taught. Payments can be made by check to Wayne County EMS or by PayPal at www.wcemstraining.com.
