Torrance (Calif.) Fire Department (TFD) personnel provide care for one of two Lomita residents who were extricated from a Ford station wagon after their car flipped over on Artesia Blvd. in Torrance. TFD paramedics securely cribbed the vehicles and extricated both occupants, taking full C-spine precautions. EMTs from Gerber Ambulance Service transported the patients, who had complained of neck and back pain, to Harbor General Hospital. Witnesses stated that the car was traveling westbound on Artesia and, for unknown reasons, drifted to the right hitting a parked car before rolling over.
