The Magnalight LEDTH-30X5W work light is the latest addition to the Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com series of mobile LED work lights. The LEDTH-30X5W is ideal for operators who desire an easily deployed mobile light source capable of illuminating large areas effectively. Designed to operate from vehicle electrical systems and equipped with an innovative trailer hitch mounting system, this LED series of work lights from Magnalight.com provides an excellent lighting solution for job sites, emergency scenes, and event lighting just to name a few examples.

The LEDTH-30X5W trailer hitch mounted work light from Magnalight.com offers high light output and convenient mobility combined with a rugged and adjustable mini-tower designed to be mounted on vehicle trailer hitches. Lightweight and easily collapsed and broken down, this portable work area light offers operators the ability to transport and operate a high power lighting solution from just about any vehicle equipped with a trailer hitch, from a work truck to their own use personal small car. Despite its light weight and portability, this LED work light is built for rugged use with an LED light head constructed with a thick aluminum housing and unbreakable LEXAN lens and a mini-tower built from heavy duty aluminum. The LED light head on this work light produces 14,790 lumens of bright white light capable of illuminating areas as large as 540’ long by 480’ wide and is IP68 rated waterproof to protect against damage from the elements. Magnalight.com also offers optional spotlight versions to allow operators to throw a light beam for much longer distances with a tighter beam spread if desired. The trailer hitch mounted tower design of this LED work light is truly innovative and allows operators to simply pull their vehicle to the area to be illuminated, mount the light to the trailer hitch, plug the unit in, and begin operation. The tower mounts to common standard push bolt and locking pin style hitches and once mounted can be extended from 3 feet to 8 feet in height for maximum coverage of the area to be illuminated. The light head is adjustable both vertically and horizontally, and an included 5 pin trailer light plug allows operators to use their existing trailer light receptacles to power the unit. Magnalight.com also offers optional cord connectors that allow operators to connect the light to cigarette lighter plugs, directly to the battery, or a four pin trailer plug. These trailer hitch mounted work lights draw only 12.5 amps @ 150 watts, making them more efficient than most other types of lighting and well suited for use with vehicles where battery drain is a concern. The high output and good light quality of these LED lights rivals that of 400 watt metal halide work lights, yet they are far more durable and long lived and produce far less heat. This trailer hitch mounted LED work light is ideal for utility workers, first responders, event operators, law enforcement, and a whole host of other applications where rugged durability and portable high power illumination is critical.

“The Magnalight LEDTH-30X5W mobile weather resistant and rugged LED trailer hitch mount light will go anywhere you have a vehicle trailer hitch,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ Magnalight.com. “This versatile work light will match a 400 watt halogen work light in illumination while burning cooler with less maintenance expense. “Operators will find this light especially useful since it will fit on cars with trailer hitches; this allows service trucks to be free to handle emergency operations.”
