LAKEVILLE, MN – ImageTrend announced today it is extending its ePCR application, EMS Field Bridge™, to support Apple’s iPad 2 and newer, Google Android 4.0 and newer, Kindle Fire, Windows 8 and Mac, in addition to the traditional Windows-based operating system. The software development company extends the long-trusted EMS Field Bridge brand with Field Bridge Xpress™ so each service provider or agency will have the option to use popular pads and tablet devices or ruggedized laptops without being dependent upon a single hardware or OS manufacturer.

“Our customers have high expectations of us,” commented Mike McBrady, President of ImageTrend, Inc. “With 26 states and more than 350,000 regional and local users counting on you for the integrity of millions of ePCR records, there is a lot at stake. We work intimately with our customers to understand their needs and create a solution that will be easy to use while providing the power, security and dependability they’ve come to know from other ImageTrend products they are using.”

Users of Field Bridge Xpress will enjoy lightning-fast performance, with early tests indicating a 7x improvement in run origination times. The software’s secure local database storage is built with top-end security specifications and allows the application to operate remotely while disconnected from wireless networks.

Field Bridge Xpress utilizes the same powerful, drag-n-drop, Web-based Layout Editor that drives current ImageTrend Field Bridge templates. Users will experience the same industry-leading administrative controls as the rest of the ImageTrend Emergency Data Systems product suite. Additionally, users will have the ability to design electronic run forms similar to paper forms, simplifying personnel training and adoptability. Collected data can be transmitted to hospitals electronically or integrated with one of more than 30 CAD systems.

ImageTrend is currently beta testing the application with a diverse client representation prior to the final product release at ImageTrend’s EDS Conference on July 18, 2012. Future releases will be available direct from ImageTrend and from mobile application stores. More product information is available on ImageTrend’s website at www.ImageTrend.com/FieldBridgeXpress.
