A hazmat incident with multiple patients is one dispatch you dread hearing. Your crew is well trained, equipped and prepared, but youÌre never quite sure your local hospital is ready to receive decon and triage the influx of contaminated patients. The new Hospital First Receiver program from the Emergency Film Group offers eight hours of OSHA-required, operations-level training for hospital personnel in contaminated patient recognition, hospital incident command, self protection and patient decontamination.
