Providers from London Ambulance Service (LAS) render care to an adult male motorcyclist who collided with a bus. Resources dispatched to the scene included a paramedic ambulance, two EMS managers and the London Air Ambulance (staffed with a physician and another paramedic). The patient suffered extensive multiple fractures to his right leg but maintained a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 15 and was transported by air to the Royal London Hospital at Whitechapel. The retroreflective uniform worn by LAS personnel is distinctive on the roadways.
