LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ten people have been injured, two critically, in a multi-vehicle traffic crash in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says more than two dozen firefighters responded to the pileup Sunday near the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Vernon Avenue.
Humphrey says one of the critically injured was briefly trapped in a vehicle, which had to be partially disassembled by rescuers.
Eight people, including at least one child, suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash, which firefighters at the scene said involved several vehicles.
