BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (AP) — Authorities say a second person has died from a single-engine plane crash in suburban Chicago.

Bolingbrook Police Lieutenant Michael Rompa says the man died shortly before 6 a.m. Thursday.

The man was on the plane when it crashed half a mile from Clow Airport in Bolingbrook on Wednesday. He was hospitalized at Loyola University Medical Center with burns.

A woman also on board the plane died when it careened into a bank parking lot. They were the only two people on board. Authorities haven't released their names or said which one was the pilot.

No one on the ground was hurt.

The plane took off from Georgetown-Scott County Airport in Kentucky and was trying to land at Clow Airport when it crashed.
