POTTSTOWN, Pa. - One worker is dead and a second is hurt after a roof collapsed while they were doing work at a prestigious private high school in suburban Philadelphia.

The Reading Eagle reports the accident happened around 11 a.m. Monday at The Hill School in Pottstown.

Authorities say the two men were doing work on the roof of a utility building near the school's power plant.

A school spokeswoman says the rescued worker has been taken to the hospital, but his condition is not known. The identities of the workers have not been released.

The building was not in use while the work was being done.
