OSGOOD, Ind. - State police say several students were being treated for injuries after a school bus and a dump truck collided on a southeastern Indiana highway.
State police Sgt. Noel Houze says all of the injuries suffered by the students and the drivers appeared to be minor, but they were being taken to hospitals to be checked out after the Monday morning crash.
Jac-Cen-Del school district superintendent William Narwold says 14 students were on board the bus when the crash happened on Indiana 129 near the Ripley County town of Osgood, about 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
Houze and Narwold didn't immediately know the circumstances of the crash. The bus had a badly damaged front end and went through a shallow ditch along with highway before stopping upright in a yard.
