WAIPAHU, Hawaii — Authorities investigating the blast at a fireworks storage bunker that killed five people intend to question the facility's operators and hope to finally be able to enter the unstable site.

Honolulu fire Capt. Gary Lum tells the Associated Press that investigators want to question officials at the ordnance disposal company Monday on details of the fireworks.

They also want to know what the employees of Donaldson Enterprises Inc. were doing when the blast occurred Friday.

Lum says police also plan to return to the blast scene to see if it's safe to enter for a more thorough probe. So far it's been too hot and unstable.

The former military bunker where the fireworks were stored erupted in an explosion, which set off a series of smaller ones. Three people were pronounced dead Friday and the bodies of two missing men were recovered Saturday.
