BOSTON - The Coast Guard says one man has died but another was rescued after their sport fishing vessel capsized in Boston Harbor.
Petty Officer James Rhodes says the Coast Guard was notified early Monday that the 17-foot Jacquelyn Ann was overdue. It had left a Weymouth yacht club on Sunday to retrieve lobster traps.
Rhodes says one man was located shortly before 6 a.m. on Little Brewster Island and taken to Massachusetts General Hospital for treatment.
Rhodes says the second man was found unresponsive at about 8 a.m. in the waters off Great Brewster Island. He was later pronounced dead.
The man who was rescued said the vessel capsized Sunday afternoon.
The men's names were not immediately released.
