OMAHA, Neb. - Three people were taken to an Omaha hospital after they were pried out of a pickup that had crashed onto the roof of a Wal-Mart store.
The Omaha Police Department says officers were called to the crash scene just after midnight Monday.
Officers say the pickup had been speeding south when the driver lost control. The truck veered off the road, down an embankment, over a retaining wall and crashed onto the Wal-Mart roof.
The driver was identified as 53-year-old Patrick Kult of Omaha. His two passengers were identified as 51-year-old Timothy Kelley of Blair and 46-year-old Peggy Dien, whose hometown was not released.
Police say speeding and alcohol consumption likely contributed to the crash.
