In the month of April, the following EMS personnel were recognized by the National EMS Memorial Service (NEMSMS) for having lost their lives in the line of duty.
Paramedic Peter P. Carbonneau, 51
Van Buren Ambulance Service, Van Buren, ME
Died on April 8, 2012 of cardiac arrest.
The purpose of the National EMS Memorial Service is to remember and honor those emergency medical services personnel who have died in the line of duty and to recognize the ultimate sacrifice they have made for their fellow man. You can learn more about the NEMSMS here.
