CLARKSVILLE, TENN. — An Emergency Medical Services crew had to rescue themselves Wednesday morning after an ambulance parked in an EMS station’s garage bay caught on fire.

The fire, at Clarksville EMS Station No. 23 on Highway 149, started around 9:45 a.m. in the ambulance’s cab, according to Sgt. Brian Prentice of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
