MULLENS, W.Va. - Twenty-one people were injured when a car hit a nursing home bus in southern West Virginia.
A Wyoming County 911 dispatcher says the head-on collision occurred at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday on County Route 5 between Ravencliff and McGraws.
Sheriff Randall Aliff says the car crossed the center line and hit a Mullens Manor bus. The bus went over an embankment and turned onto its side.
Aliff says the bus driver, 18 passengers on the bus, and two people in the car were taken to area hospitals. He says none of the injuries was serious.
He says most of the bus' passengers were disabled.
No charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.
