Auburn (Mass.) Fire Department paramedics responded to this bus crash on an interstate off-ramp in less than a minute, assessing and triaging the 56 passengers inside the bus. All 34 injured passengers were transported to UMass Medical Center for treatment of potential spinal injuries, fractures, lacerations and hematomas. One was a Priority 1 and another was a Priority 2, but the majority were Priority 3. Read more about how eight agencies worked together to quickly and successfully handle this MCI.
