JEMS Staff | | Thursday, December 31, 2009

On Dec. 30, police shut down Times Square while investigating a white 1992 Dodge van that was parked on the west side of Broadway between 42nd and 41st Streets. The incident happened as preparations were under way for a rehearsal of the New Year_s Eve ball drop and delayed the rehearsal. Although only clothes were found in the van,the incident serves as a reminder that EMS agencies should be prepared for anything in areas with New Year's Eve festivities.
