There's been some tension brewing between the Albuquerque Fire Department and the ambulance company contracted to handle emergency transports. The city's first responders are not supposed to be transporting victims to hospitals but have in the past because Albuquerque Ambulance was often not showing up to scenes fast enough. Both sides are hoping a contract will set some rules.
