March 01, 2012 -- “SmartBaby teaches how to perform proper pediatric chest compressions, ventilations and CPR, as specified in the 2010 Guidelines.
• SmartBaby is a new infant BLS CPR manikin training system that simulates a baby up to one year in age. It uses Ambu’s Baby manikin complete with the patented hygienic system to eliminate the risk of cross infections, easy maintenance and internal cleaning.
• SmartBaby software has the same “look and feel” as the current SmartMan and Airway SmartMan, featuring the hallmark SmartMan colored bars. It provides full results details for all CPR activities, displaying them onscreen, for printout or saved for later viewing.

Ambu SmartBaby is fully Guidelines 2010 compliant and provides both practice and test activities for the following CPR skills:
• Chest Compressions
• Ventilations
• 1 Person CPR (30:2)
• 2 Person CPR (15:2)
Two Training Modes
Like other SmartMan systems, SmartBaby has 2 training modes:
• “Standard” mode with real time visual color feedback turned on.
• “Advanced” test with visual feedback turned off, for a truly accurate & objective score.
