Rural Metro Struggles to Fill EMT Positions

Knoxville (WVLT) - The incentive is up to $10,000, Rural Metro's signing bonus is now bumped from $6,000.

Calls from as far away as New York are coming in.

So far, Rural Metro says they've hired eight new EMS professionals in the past five days.

Call volume is up, and Knoxville s not getting any smaller.
