Paxton, MA (May 10, 2012) Anna Maria College announces that its four-year, Paramedic Science degree program has received accreditation from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. AMC’s Paramedic Science Program was lauded for its infusion of ethics and universal support throughout the College.
“This is indeed good news for Anna Maria College and our Paramedic Science program,” states Ted Flanagan, Director of Paramedic Science at AMC. “We are the first college in New England and one of only a handful nationwide to offer a Bachelor's degree specifically in Paramedicine. In addition, the program fits perfectly with AMC's history of educating and training public safety and health professionals
The accreditation is the culmination of almost a year's worth of work and preparation. In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Paramedic Science, Anna Maria College also offers public safety and health degrees in fire science, emergency management, nursing, criminal justice and public administration.
