At EMS Today 2011 in Baltimore in March, ProMed Podcast Network hosted live podcast sessions from the exhibit hall with special guests and product highlights from the conference. In case you missed it, here's a look at those exciting podcast episodes from Day 3 at EMS Today.

The following episodes were recorded live in the ProMed Podcasting studio sponsored by Aladtec.
Product Innovation Picks
The Podmedic Jamie Davis and Chris Montera of EMS Garage come together and interview Andy Lovell, GCEMS Chief and discuss Aladtec’s EMS scheduling product called EMS Manager, which is a web-based service also available on a smart phone that aids in scheduling of hundreds of providers in an EMS system. Another show guest, Dr. Jeff Meyers, discusses how emergency medicine interacts with EMS.
During the Product Innovation Picks segment, Keith Ishida from BEARiatrics.com introduced a product called BEAR (Bariatric Equalizing Abdominal Restraint), which functions by turning a regular cot into a bariatric cot by keeping the abdominal mass centered, diminishing the risk for tipping during transport. Also, Josh Knapp from WANTYNU talks about the features of the new TK3, an O2 wrench designed to operate in a wider environment. Spencer was also asked to appear as a Product Innovation Pick with their Tango Pedi/Adult Backboard, which saves space in the rig by combining an adult and pediatric backboard into one.
Social Media & More Product Picks
The Podmedic Jamie Davis and Chris Montera of EMS Garage talk with David Konig from www.thesocialmedic.net about the EMS social media community, the latest trends in EMS such as mobile documentation and applications for continuing education, and where EMS stands.
Carissa O’Brien also visited the studio to discuss her product pick -- the Invisible Bracelet powered by the American Ambulance Association, which is an emergency personal identification number (PIN) displayed on a wallet card, keychain, sticker or snap-on device for clothing that -- in an emergency -- can identify you to medics and notify your emergency contacts.
They wrap with Dr. Anonymous, who shared his experiences in the field of social media.
Benefits of EMS Manager
Chad Clay, Director of Business Development at Aladtec, discusses the key benefits of the EMS Manager scheduling system for administrators and providers, including savings in time and cost.
