"Go get the suction unit." No matter how well the call is going, after that request, itÌs never easy. The newLaerdal Compact Suction Unit (LCSU) 3is small enough to carry in the outer pocket of an airway bag, so youÌll never need to holler down the stairs for your partner to get the suction unit. Designed to hold a 300 mL collection canister, the LCSU 3 can also be fitted to use an 800 mL container by simply using the optional wire canister bracket. The easily adjustable suction regulator is located on the side of the unit, and an LED control panel indicates how much suction is being applied. The LCSU 3 will operate off an NiMH battery but can also be used with AC or DC power.
