For a quarter-century, JEMS has surveyed the largest EMS systems across the United States with the goal of providing a snapshot of the industry and having the results serve as a benchmark for individual services. Over the years, the survey has grown from just 50 cities and a handful of questions to the current 200 most populous cities and nearly 100 data points.
The JEMS Salary & Workforce Survey is conducted by the EMS/public safety consulting firm Fitch & Associates .
