Minimax XT by Honeywell Analytics is an effective easy to use low cost solution for monitoring CO in the atmosphere.  This maintenance fee disposable unit does not require calibration or battery charging and has a usable life of 2 years. 

MiniMax's Real Time Display shows the parts per million gas concentration (ppm) at all times.  By pressing the self-test button, user can obtain the Alarm Levels, peak reading, time since peak reading, and months (or days / hours) until expiration.
