Emergency Dispatchers

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority was established in 1932. It is a member of the Red Cross / Red Crescent humanitarian movement. Today we assist in disaster relief operations on a worldwide level and provide pre-hospital emergency care / ambulance services all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are currently expanding and improving our EMS services and need to recruit the following:

Emergency Dispatchers  

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year multi-line telephone experience, data entry or on the job computer experience.
• One year customer service experience or experience working with the public. 
• Knowledgeable in use of Microsoft Windows or Windows NT. 
• Previous Police/Fire/EMS or Helicopter dispatch experience is required.
• Ability to accurately hear and simultaneously electronically document verbal information. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English as well as Arabic.   Both verbally and in writing. 
• Ability to remain calm and professional while questioning callers who may be verbally abusive, emotionally upset, uncooperative or frightened. 
• Ability to work in a high pressured and structured environment. 
• Ability to take direction, work independently and as part of a group. 
• Must be able to sit for an extended period of time and wear a telephone headset. 
• Consideration may be given for education and training related to 911 dispatch, law enforcement, fire or emergency medical service, in lieu of experience.
