Oakland Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Training Coordinator – Fire/EMS.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fire Fighter Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Homeland Security/Emergency Management, Business Administration or related field or Associate’s degree in the above fields and three years experience in fire or emergency services. Michigan Fire Fighters Training council Certification required. Current EMS Instructor Coordinator Certificate required or eligible to become EMS Instructor Coordinator Certified within first year of employment AND three years experience in a supervisory capacity in a fire or emergency medical service agency. Teaching experience in fire fighting and/or emergency services. Preferred Requirements: Fire Officer Certification and EMT and/or Paramedic license. Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred.
