Solar Stik

EMS operations are becoming more technology dependent. The major requirement of operating today’s diagnostic, computing and communications equipment is stable electrical power. The new Solar Stik offers an environmentally friendly, quiet and portable power source that’s not dependent on any fuel other than sunshine. The system generates DC power and is used to continuously recharge 12-V batteries. The batteries are connected to a power pack with a DC-to-AC inverter, making this a silent replacement for a small- to medium-sized generator. A number of configurations are available, including one with a 200-watt, self-regulating wind generator that mounts to the top of the Solar Stik mast.
