David K. Tan, MD, FAAEM, EMT-T, is assistant professor and chief of EMS at Washington University School of Medicine. He serves as vice chair of the Missouri State Advisory Council on EMS and is chair of the Operational EMS Committee of the National Association of EMS Physicians.
