Bernie Meehan Jr.

Bernie Meehan Jr., EMT-P, grew up in Newtown, Conn. He has been a paramedic since 1984. He’s currently employed as a career deputy fire chief and a part-time paramedic, and he serves as a volunteer EMS chief, firefighter and deputy fire coordinator. He’s one of the founding members of the Conn. critical incident stress debriefing team as has responded to hundreds of requests for help, including more than 36 line of duty deaths.
