Hit & Run

Personnel from Los Angeles County Fire Department Engine 171 and McCormick Ambulance extricate a woman from a BMW sport utility vehicle after the patient was involved in a hit-and-run crash outside a rental car facility near Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The woman was conscious and alert and had not sustained serious injuries. However, the personnel opted to immobilize her with full spinal precautions due to significant vehicle damage, mechanism of injury and air bag deployment. She was transported to a nearby hospital via McCormick Ambulance in stable condition.
