6 Children Among 8 Injured in Wisconsin Interstate Crash

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin State Patrol says six children are among eight people hurt in a rollover crash on the interstate in Dane County.

The accident on Interstate 39/90 happened Sunday evening near Madison. WKOW-TV (http://bit.ly/12qv4Id ) reports the children range in age from 3 to 11 years old. All lanes of the interstate were temporarily shut down to allow a medical helicopter to take one injured child from the scene.

Officials say the driver, a 29-year-old woman, will be cited for each child who was not restrained and for driving with a suspended license.
