Day 6: Where in the World (of EMS) is A.J.?

Today JEMS Editor-in-Chief, A.J. Heightman, MPA, EMT-P, is in Warwickshire, England, attending the Ambulance Leadership Forum Conference. The Ambulance Leadership Conference/Forum is being held in concert with the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) as well as the (English) College of Paramedics Forum.  The International Roundtable on Community Paramedicine is also participating in this conference.

A.J. will be posting further report on developments and presentations occurring at this conference. For now, he sent pictures that shows you highlights of the conference (Day 6: Ambulance Leadership Forum) and pictures of a recently-delivered ambulance designed by Yorkshire Ambulance (Day 6: Yorkshire Ambulance). Much of the conference emphasis has been on professionalizing EMS, reducing stress on prehospital EMS providers and advances being made in community paramedicine.
