Paramedics Ready to Field Calls for Heat Illness

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. -- The hot weather is going to keep emergency workers all over the St. Louis metro area busy.

With the heat wave expected to last for another seven to 10 days, paramedics with the Monarch Fire Protection District say they're prepared to take on additional emergency calls.
