Paramedic Recounts Unusual Rescue in Pennsylvania Fatal Fire

TANNERSVILLE, Pa. -- Paramedic Richard Bengel, 22, of Tannersville, was on a couch listening to Metallica at the Central Pocono Ambulance building on Route 611 in Tannersville.

Sometime after 1:30 a.m., Bengel and his partner, 20-year veteran Margo Warner of Kunkletown, were dispatched by a medical alert activation to a home on Hickory Lane in Jackson Township.
