SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Rural/Metro Corporation, a leading national provider of ambulance and private fire protection services, has been awarded a new contract to provide exclusive 911 ambulance services in Cass County, Indiana.

The five-year contract began April 2, following a vote last week of the Cass County Board of Commissioners to transition the system from a public to a private model.

Michael DiMino, President & Chief Executive Officer, said, "We appreciate the opportunity to serve the citizens of Cass County and look forward to building on our longstanding record of service excellence in the region.
