California Ambulance Association to Hold Two Events in April

The California Ambulance Association has two exciting events coming up in April.

The Board of Directors voted to hold 2 (rather than 4) meetings this year. The Stars of Life Celebration and Legislative Summit have been combined into 1 comprehensive event. We encourage you to take this opportunity to reward your outstanding employees by nominating one or more Stars at this year’s Stars of Life Celebration & Legislative Summit. This is also a great opportunity to meet with your Senate and Assembly representatives to discuss the challenges that the ambulance industry is facing. The Stars of Life Celebration and Legislative Summit will be held April 16-18, 2012 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento, CA. The brochure for this event can be found here: http://www.the-caa.org/pdf%20docs/CAA-2012Stars+Leg-Summit-Brochure.pdf. Online registration for this event can be found here: http://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1076013.

On the afternoon of April 16th, 2012, at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Sacramento, the CAA will host the Health Care Reform Think Tank program. Join a group of leaders representing California’s key EMS system stakeholders to confront tough issues on potential opportunities and challenges of health care reform. The think tank is sure to discuss controversial issues in a frank and, at times, difficult conversation intended to generate creative solutions that will shape your organizations’ strategy going forward. The brochure for this event can be found here: http://www.the-caa.org/pdf%20docs/CAA-Think-Tank-2012-broch.pdf and online registration can be found here: http://www.regonline.com/Register/Checkin.aspx?EventID=1076073

The room rate at the Sheraton Grand Hotel is $155. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is March 26, 2012. Please call 800-325-3535 to make your hotel reservation.
