WHEATON, Md. (WUSA) - Police in Montgomery County say a Ride-On bus has hit a building in the 12400 block of Georgia Avenue near the Wheaton-Glenmont Metro Station.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson Capt. Oscar Garcia said the bus hit a Kentucky Fried Chicken at that location. Medic units are evaluating three patients who were on the bus, Garcia said, and he believes one will be transported. Rescue personnel on the scene have requested a building inspector.

Garcia said there is light to moderate damage to both the bus and the building.

Motorists can expect traffic issues in this area until authorities complete their investigation.
