Ambulance Company Employee Dies in California Crash

ONTARIO - The Contra Costa Times reports that an ambulance company employee was killed in a crash involving his ambulance.

Douglas L. Odgers, 23, of Rialto was in the back of an ambulance when it crashed into a guardrail along the No.10 Freeway on Sunday. Odgers was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. The vehicle's driver reportedly suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
