Four Killed In Romania Ambulance Crash

BUCHAREST, Romania - Romanian authorities say a hospital shuttle has crashed in downtown Bucharest, killing all four patients in the vehicle.

Police say a BMW made a wrong turn, and smashed into the shuttle on the opposite side of the road. All four patients in the ambulance died immediately.

The shuttle driver and two people in the BMW were injured. Health official Raed Arafat says the patients were being taken to a hospital for dialysis treatment.

Driving conditions deteriorated overnight as snow hit the capital.
