CardioCommand Inc. StatMAP

cardiocommand-373

Automatic blood pressure cuffs typically require a power source and some type of compressor to inflate the cuff. TheÜStatMAP fromÜCardioCommand Inc. is a battery-powered device that uses a typical hand-squeeze bulb to inflate the cuff. The pressure is then automatically lowered and uses a oscillometric, step-deflate method for non-invasive blood pressure determination. A series of LEDs around the face of the gauge indicate all of the blood pressure parameters: systolic, diastolic, mean arterial pressure and heart rate. Heart rate is derived from the BP determination, which measures peripheral pulses, not the electrical signal of an ECG.
