Haix Airpower R2

Our footwear needs are different from those of the fire service. Although many EMS providers wear footwear certified for firefighting, that level of protection isnÌt always required, so you may be wearing boots that are heavier and more expensive than necessary. The Airpower R2 from Haix is designed for EMS and meets NFPA 1999Ò2008 standards for Emergency Medical Operations. Some of the EMS-specific features include a heat- and slip-resistant rubber sole, reflective elements in the heel and instep bend area, built-in arch support, a steel toe, a steel midsole for puncture protection and the Haix climate system. And like every other Haix boot weÌve tested, theyÌre really comfortable.
