Handheld US Nautiz X5 PDA

handheld-373

The federal government advocates the use of electronic patient care reports (ePCRs) to increase efficiency and decrease clinical errors. But device dependability, portability and software availability often present barriers to full implementation of ePCRs in some EMS systems. TheÜNautiz X5 PDA fromÜHandheld US addresses many of these concerns. First, it uses the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system for ease of use. It also weighs less than 15 oz. and has an IP65 rating, which means itÌs impervious to dust, highly water-resistant, can withstand drops from six feet, and operates in a wide range of temperatures. Additional features include a three-megapixel camera, 1-D laser barcode scanning, 3G cellular capability, Bluetooth and 802.11b/g, with WPA2 encryption and SIRF Instant Fix II technology that computes GPS positions in seconds.
