Economy Taxing Emergency Personnel

LAS VEGAS -- As the economy continues to slump, many people have to become thrifty with their health care, which means skipping medications and cutting off doctors visits especially for those without insurance.

For years, people have skipped regular doctor's visits for urgent care or even the ER when they get sick. With people struggling even more to make ends meet, they are even shying away from those options and instead calling 911 for the help of firefighters.
