Drugs Stolen From Ambulance During Fire

LEXINGTON, Wash. -- A thief stole medication from a Cowlitz County ambulance while emergency crews and firefighters were dealing with a house fire Sunday.

Firefighters said they were called to the fire at around 3 a.m. at Westside Highway and Lexington Place.

The blaze destroyed the home. Meanwhile, a thief snuck inside an ambulance, opened compartments and took several medications, fire officials said.
