BeeAlert Bee Control System

Although Chris FarleyÌs fake attack of Ïkiller beesÓ in ÏTommy BoyÓ made for great comedy, actual attacks by swarms of Africanized bees can be deadly. Aside from the obvious danger to the patient, emergency response crews need a safe way to mitigate the swarm before patient care can begin. The patent-pending BeeAlert Bee Control System distributes a non-toxic, environmentally safe spray formula that attacks the respiratory systems of the insects, effectively drowning bees and wasps on contact. ItÌs available in a portable tank, trailer-mounted system or aerosol spray. The portable tank holds enough formula for five minutes of application, and the aerosol spray can be used to allow the victim time to exit the stinging hot zone. An electric backpack sprayer is coming soon.

Portable tank capacity: 8.5 gal

Aerosol capacity: 18 oz.

Cost: $870 (portable unit);

$650 (trailer system);

$8.99 (aerosol spray)
