Police: Man Assaulted Ambulance Workers

LEDYARD, Conn. -- A 27-year-old man was arrested early Saturday after he allegedly assaulted two ambulance workers who were trying to take a patient at the MGM Grand Casino Hotel to the hospital, police said.

Ivan Serret, of Beverly, Mass., was charged with breach of peace, assault on emergency medical personnel and third-degree assault.
