Naked man arrested in Guerneville for Assaulting Paramedic

GUERNEVILLE, Calif. -- Sonoma County sheriff's deputies arrested a naked, bleeding man Sunday in Guerneville after he allegedly kicked a paramedic in the head and resisted arrest.

Just before 8 a.m. units from the Russian River Fire Protection District were dispatched to render medical aid on Guerne Way, according to the sheriff's office.

Units arrived to find 55-year-old resident Jose Alvarez standing naked in the driveway, bleeding profusely from a wound on his wrist. He reached into the bed of his nearby pickup truck and pointed a handgun at the paramedics, who quickly left the immediate area.
