Hella USA's AS 400 Xenon HID

Hella-AS300-373

HellaÜUSAÌs AS 400 Xenon HID (High Intensity Discharge) technology brings Ïbroad daylightÓ to your darkened rescue or worksite with this compact but robust work lamp. Xenon HID lighting creates a brighter, whiter light than an equivalent wattage halogen light source. HID lamps use a high voltage electric arc instead of a glowing filament to create light. The HID tube has a 3,000-hour life, and the arc is created by a ballast thatÌs selfcontained within the lamp. The AS 400 is a good example of German engineering with its die-cast aluminum case and vibration-dampening mount of stainless-steel hardware. It uses 12-V or 24-V power through a standard two-pin, weather-resistant connector, and comes out of the box ready to operate.
